This 7-Step Morning Routine Helped Me Build a Billion-Dollar Brand
by Tom Bilyeu
Left to my own devices, I'm lazy as hell. During one period of my life, I would stay in bed for hours in the morning because I was too cold and lazy to get up and put a sweatshirt on. As a child, I showed no early signs of promise whatsoever. My own mother, who was always my biggest champion, just quietly assumed I was going to fail in life. And yet today, I’m a successful entrepreneur who co-founded the company Quest Nutrition, which was valued at over a billion dollars, and I’ve since gone on to found Impact Theory, a company whose content, when combined with my past show Inside Quest, has been viewed more than 165 million times. Why John Wooden's Teams Won
by John C. Maxwell
My lesson today centers on a man who, in my opinion, was the best basketball coach—college or pro—to have ever lived: the great John Wooden. To most he was known as the “Wizard of Westwood,” the UCLA basketball coach who guided the Bruins to an unprecedented 10 national championships over two decades. But for those who played for him, he was much more than a coach. He was a teacher, father figure, mentor and master motivator who got every inch and more out of his players. When I heard of his passing last June, my mind was flooded with many memories of this great man, and the impact he had on so many people, including me. I was also reminded of memories and life lessons I shared with him personally. Read more here.

Two of the most amazing emotions one can feel are positivity and happiness. Did you know that ONLY 1 out of 5 students is doing hair after they graduate from cosmetology school? The number is alarming.

For your students to be successful, he or she needs a solid business plan based on Retention, Experience and Demand. We call it the R.E.D. Factor. It is a benchmark to success and a good tool for your students to use to achieve professional growth.
RED
RETENTION = Teach your students to do everything possible to give guests a great experience so they keep coming back.

EXPERIENCE = Your students need to gain as much experience as they can. Teach them to be lifelong learners. To keep up with the latest styles and techniques. To keep growing and changing.

DEMAND = When your students become sought-after and are booked up a week ahead, they are in demand. Teach your students how to become well known and popular.
